Tennessee Office Open for Business
We are excited to announce the grand opening of our new office this month. Green River Land Marketing of Tennessee, LLC, is off to a great start with two avid outdoors enthusiasts and realty experts.
Terry T. McAlister, our Principal Broker for the Brentwood, Tennessee office, first became a Realtor in 1998, with Woodmont Realty Brentwood. “I credit my early success to Ken Cline, Broker and partner of Prudential Woodmont Realty,” Terry said. In 2000, she attained her “ABR” accreditation, which was followed with her “GRI” accreditation in 2003. A native of Tennessee, Terry loves the outdoors and enjoys duck hunting and f ishing with her husband Johnny on their Owl Hoot Duck Club in Ridgley, Tenn., west of Dyersburg.
Affiliate Broker Jay Langston has a wealth of experience that buyers and sellers of recreational property will find invaluable. He’s the former Director of Marketing for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, as well as devoting his marketing, sales and publicity skills to a sizable Georgia-based recreational real estate company that sold more than $50 million in ranches and farms in 2008. Jay is also a well-known author and outdoorsman. He has served as the Editor for several national and regional magazines, producer for a couple of outdoors television shows and is a book author, too. He wrote “Turkey Hunter’s Took Kit: Shooting Savvy,” and “Tennessee Whitetails.”
Jay’s intimate knowledge of the Volunteer State’s game herds, flocks and fisheries can give landowners an edge when they’re looking for recreational land buyers, and he can help prospective land buyers find the ideal property to fit their personal needs. “My idea of customer service goes beyond the closing table,” Langston said. “I want to share my land stewardship experience with recreational landowners who want help improving their own wildlife habitat. We’ve got an obligation to make this planet a better place than we found it, and giving our children places to roam and enjoy outside the city limits teaches them things they can’t learn on FaceBook and Twitter.”
